Information about Visitors and Attendants

                                                    Patients

Dear Visitor

Visiting a patient at the Hospital you should know that:

a. The extended visits and the noises at the Hospital areas are dangerous and annoying for the patients and prevent the good operation of the Hospital.

b. Your long-lasting stay at the patient’s ward prevents patients from sleeping and resting.

c. Many and noisy visits harm patients.

d. Information about the course of patient’s health will be given to you by the Director of Clinic at his office or at doctor’s office from 13.30 until 14.30. The continuous annoyance of doctors in the corridors for information upsets them and obstruct substantially their work.

e. It is well known that smoking damage health seriously. It is strictly prohibited in the Hoapital.

f. Carrying foods-drink and other foodstuffs to the patients is not allowed, because it can create problems to their health, as they may follow special diet program and special pharmaceutical treatment.

g. Littering various spaces of the Hospital with papers, boxes etc, that are abandoned irregularly can create additional infections dangerous not only for patients and personnel, but also for you, that,  you are  coming to visit  and  ask for the course of health of your beloved  persons.

h. The intervention, generally, in the hospital’s installations (technological-hotel equipment) and its bad use, not only   overloads considerably its budget, as the expense of purchase and maintenance is significant, but also can to turn out at the expense of the patient itself.

 

Your collaboration with the Hospital’s personnel and obedience to their indications, assist, not only the better implementation of their work, but you also give them the capability to dedicate  more time for  the treatment of the patients.

Because we believe that you want to help this effort for better and more effective operation of the hospital’s services, so that the patient you are visiting will get well soon, as well as the other patients, we thank you for your short and civilized visit.

 

Visitor’s Obligations

The stay of relatives and friends at patient’s wards  should be short and not many persons at the same time

The attendance of children should be  avoided.

The schedule of visiting hours  should be kept.  

Attendants that remain at the wards, after special authorization, should attend and help for the maintenance of cleanness of the wards.  

Do not sit at the patient’s beds. 

Do not keep flowers at the wards. 

Do not keep foods, refreshments or coffees, because they turn to microbe nest. 

Visitors and attendants should not cause noise, because the patients need calm and quiet. 

GENERAL INFORMATION

1.   Import to the Hospital begins from Outpatient's Department where a double import ticket is issued by the responsible Doctor.  

2.   One copy is given to Admission Office and the other to the Supervisor of the Clinic.

3.   Insured to IKA, OGA, or Public Sector, should bring with them their security card   the day of their import or the next day.

4.  For the rest insurances, a medical opinion is given by their import in order for the import ticket to be issued by their Insurance which they give to the Admission Office.

5.   Attendants should mention their contact phone number to the supervisor of the clinic. 

6.    By the end of Hospitalization the Supervisor of the Clinic   gives to the patient a double discharge ticket which they give to Admission Office for legalization and invoicing, one copy of which is given back to the supervisor.

THE HOSPITAL SHOULD ALWAYS RESPECT THE PERSONAL OPINION, THE RIGHTS AND THE VALUES OF EACH PATIENT, IF PATIENT AND ATTENDANT  RESPECT THE HOSPITAL, BEST RESULTS WILL BE ACHIEVED.
